Addressing
The Department assigns new and modifies existing addresses within the County of Columbia, County of Montour,
and within Riverside Borough and Rush Township, Northumberland County. This effort is in direct support and the foundation of emergency response
via requests for assistance by 9-1-1 during times of need.
How do I request an address?
- Read the Addressing Policy
- Download and complete the Address Request Form
- Submit the Address Requst Form by email to gis@columbiapa.org, or by mail to P.O. Box 380, Bloomsburg, PA 17815
- An addressing agent will respond to your request to initiate the process and to request additional detail about the precise location
of the driveway and the structure location on the parcel.
All addresses assigned by formal request will be sent to the following: 1) requestor of the address,
2) the East Central Emergency Network (ECEN 9-1-1), 3) the United States Postal Service (USPS), 4) the local municipality, and 5) the county Assessment office.
